The Three Stresses

The Three Stresses

Adrian Dorsey

I know that I have written about a lot of things. From the Paradigm Formula for achieving success all the way to the paranormal activity on the farm to the deliverance ministry in Northern Alberta, Canada which led into the encounters with what I called the silicoid or grey beings from 1991 to 1992. I can probably say that I have seen things that would blow the minds of the normal average person. I have probably witnessed phenomenon that many will never see in the span of their entire lifetime. However, over and above all of that the story of my life is really centered around the journey of my health. You see everything that you experience or go through in some way effects the internal functioning of your body.

The spinal therapist that worked on my back for the two years I has learning gung fu in Calgary, Alberta, explained it to me this way. There are three stresses that cause damage to our body. The first is emotional or psychological stress which can manifest in the organs causing all kinds of problems. Negative emotions such as worry, anxiety, fear, anger, sadness can lead to depression if you cling to the cause and effect which generate or promote them. Over time the body becomes addicted to the chemicals that these dark side feelings create which ultimately lead to toxins being naturally produced by your very own body which slowly begins to poison you from the inside out. This can lead to organ problems or in my case I believe it was largely responsible for the digestive issues which have plagued me over the years such as irritable bowel syndrome. Feelings generate chemicals in your body which are produced by the hypothalamus. Positive expressions from within create a greater expression of life throughout your overall system which is what you want. This is the reason it is so important to maintain the way you react or respond to situations that confront you on a daily basis. Emotional stress is a major contributing factor to illness.

The second is nutritional stress. Most of our food today is genetically modified and processed to the point that there is little nutritional value in it at all. Your body requires nutrition that can benefit the function of all of your internal systems. That is why it is so important to try to eat food that is alive and fresh which has not been altered with pesticides or other dangerous chemicals and byproducts which than carry over into your body when you eat them. Your vehicle requires a certain kind of gasoline in order to run properly. What would happen if you put the wrong fuel in it? You would not get very far. Your body by far is more complicated than a combustion engine. For years my diet was wheat, yeast, and processed engineered food. I only drank cola of some kind and never water. Finally my entire digestive system crashed about ten years ago. I was sick all the time. I did not realize that it was the food that I was eating that was killing me. Until my gung fu teacher suggested that I see his nutritionist. Then I began my journey of learning how to eat properly. That was not easy. The first thing I had to do was eliminate wheat and all gluten from my diet as well as lactose. For the first year I thought I was going to die. However, my system began to clear up. The IB began to subside. I was able to do things without worrying where a damn washroom was before hand and that felt pretty good. Nutrition or the lack thereof does determine the state of your overall well being.

The third stress is, what I believe, to be as a result of the body already compromised emotionally as well as nutritionally and that is physical stress. We have all done some pretty stupid things to our bodies over the years which have left us in a lot of discomfort now and again. Such as slipping on the stairs, picking something up the wrong way, vehicle accident, falling.. the list is endless. The point is that a body that is already compromised and weak is going to break easily. The Chinese know that it is not natural for the body to get weak and frail with the bones susceptible to fracture as age sets in. This is not natural. A body that is emotionally and nutritionally healthy with a good physical regimen to maintain optimal functioning should always be strong and capable of withstanding injury when the circumstances occur. I train gung fu. This includes the iron shirt program which targets the internal organs with supreme health as well as reinforcing the bones so that they remain strong with healthy marrow producing the precious red and white blood cells that the body needs right into old age. The body should not break down with age but we are not taught that over here in America. When it comes to our health we are basically programmed that that which is good for us is bad and that which is bad is good. Hence, all the processed genetically engineered produce that is exempt of nutrition guarantees nothing except a weak body with a compromised immune system that leaves a person totally vulnerable to sickness and disease and easily susceptible to physical injury.

My story more than anything has been a journey of the maintenance of my health. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. That is the only way I was able to make the necessary changes which have made a difference in my life. I had to face the fact that if I remained on the road I was on that I was going to live a miserable life and probably die young. The Taoists have a saying; that if someone dies before the age of 150 years then they have died too young. I know that it is being said that people are living longer in America and that may be the case. Perhaps people are living longer but I do not believe they are living longer because they are healthier.

Just consider these words. Don’t take my word for it. Do your own homework and you will come to a similar conclusion.
