Belief is a Two Edged Sword

Belief is a Two Edged Sword

By

Adrian Dorsey

The power of belief is the ability to know beyond the shadow of any doubt that something is. You just know that you know. Belief is the undertone of faith in action. Whether something is seen or unseen you have the evidence of its reality by whatever means that has convinced you. Now I want you to realize that the identity of this interesting trait is none other than the Law of Attraction. For by your thoughts you bring into your life whatever it is that you direct most of your energy toward. Energy goes out in the form of emotional commitment which causes the universe to respond according to your need.

Well, here is where I am going to cut to the chase and quit skirting around the bushes. The fact of the matter is that the universe does not give you what you need, but it does give you what you believe. The power of creation is unbiased toward what it is that you require. It only responds to the frequency of your personal vibrational patterns which are attuned to whatever it is that you are feeling at any given moment. As soon as you generate an emotion you transmit that pattern outward not in a wave but in the form of rays like a sun in every direction. All of creation then responds with everything organic and inorganic in nature to return to you exactly what you are emanating.

Well, you can protest on this note and say, “Well, I did not ask for this cancer.” No, but fear and anxiety combined with the lack of proper nutrition with a dung heap of stress is what causes cancer.

Well, someone else might balk and say, “Well, I did not ask for poverty but I have no money.” No, but the belief of lack promotes the manifestation of not having enough which then has become that person’s reality. This person does not need a bowl of soup or a piece of bread so they can live another day and die of hunger later. They require a vision of reality so they can become master of their own lives and change their fate by the power of belief that they deserve better and through working daily toward that end can change their present predicament to a life more accommodating.

Well, a third person might refuse to accept this and say, “Well, I did not ask to live from pay check to pay check barely making ends meet.” No, but remember the words of Andrew Carnegie when Napoleon Hill asked him why it was that the working class never gets anywhere to which Carnegie replied, “That people that work for wages have no greater purpose then the wage they are working for and this is why the wheel of fortune passes them by. The major difficulty of most people that go through poverty is that they are where they are by the power of their own mind.”

You must understand that desire and expectation works the same as fear and expectation. This is belief. The outcome of either one of these is dependent on which one you commit most of your emotions to.

I know this for a fact because I used to live in depression. I was addicted to depression for a lot of years. Fear and anxiety was a way of life. If I could imagine something going wrong it surely would. I would then tell myself that I knew it was going to go wrong and because that was what I expected to happen it was not a shocker when it came to pass. Little did I know that I was the responsible for my own outcome of reality simply by the power of deliberate intention.

Now I have experienced that other side of the coin where I now understand the power of being a co-creator of my own existence determining my own outcome and being the author of my own fate. By the power of my belief I began to study two different styles of kung fu and by incorporating these into a daily routine I dramatically improved my health. It was belief that brought my wife, Amy, and I together through a long immigration process as two thousand miles separated us as well as the border between Canada and the United States. By belief I have also published a book that is changing the lives of all who have read it. The title of it is called the Paradigm Formula; Your 2012 Survival Guide. I am no longer depressed but live with the understanding of the ability to attract into my life whatever it is that I am emotionally committed to in such a manner that by deliberate intention I can make come to pass.

Now I share this formula with you in the hopes of inspiring you to take control of your own health and relationships and your own fate. For by your belief you can be who you were created to be so that you can do those things that you know you have been created to do.

The End of the World And the Dumb Genie Aspect

The End of the World

And the Dumb Genie Aspect

By

Adrian Dorsey

Can you think of any greater business obstruction then the End of the World? Yet the idea alone is worth millions in revenue to the people that have been selling the idea. Like rats to the proverbial electrified cupcake the sheeple keep going back for more and continue to buy into it like a record stuck on repeat.

Through my studying I realized that we transmit our own destinies. We human beings are living transmitters and we emit our feelings outward like signals or rays that cause the Universe to respond to whatever emotions we are emitting. The Universe in return reacts in accordance to what we are radiating whether it is joy, gladness, hope… or on the other side of the spectrum it could be fear, depression and the expectation of dying in a holocaust predicted by media fallacies. Bottom line is that the Universe meets you where your expectations are at. It is as Wallace D. Wattles said in his book “The Science of Getting Rich” that poverty exists for no other reason than that those who live in poverty can see nothing beyond the scope of their present condition. Disease exists because thought is given toward the image of sickness which manifests the reality of disease in the body. Whatever your present condition may be it is only because you have believed yourself into it whether that is an area of success or a back alley in a cardboard box. Life met you where you believed yourself to be. So long as you believe in the image of the condition you will remain steadfast where you are with no change. In Reiterate this philosophy in my own words within the pages of The Paradigm Formula; Your 2012 Survival Guide.

The “powers that be” which govern our society know this paradigm formula quite well. That is why 1% of the world owns the greatest riches while the rest wallow in misery and poverty. They want you to believe that you deserve no better. So there you sit, exactly where they want you having accepted your lot in life without so much as a fight.

Now the world prepares to die. Why? For no other reason than that is the image that the governing powers of our society want you to believe. You see “they” know that the Universe responds to thought and emotion. “They” who govern us from the sidelines know that humans transmit their emotions like beacons outward into deep space and all of creation both animate and inanimate responds to that energy to give back along the same frequency that which has been received. It has worked well enough to keep poverty, disease, and misery alive on our planet for aeons. Now through the fostering of the the End of the World concept there are millions of people transmitting the emotional horror that they are going to die. This frequency is emitting outward into all of creation that we will inevitably perish on a given date and guess what… all of creation is trying to respond. Not because some deity wants the Earth to perish, but because that is how the Law of the Universe works. Whatever you emotionally connect yourself too will inevitably come to pass if you are wholly committed to it. The Law of Nature is not biased it simply brings to you your greatest hopes but it will also bring to you your greatest fears. It does not care whether it is good or bad for you. Only that you transmitted an emotional frequency and it wants to give back what you sent out.

I call it the dumb genie aspect. Only you are not limited to three wishes. You get to request all the desires and fears you want and Nature will keep giving to you the rewarding image that you see in your mind whether it is your success for happiness, abundance, and fulfillment or your misery in poverty and disease.

How To Prepare for 2012

How To Prepare for 2012

By
Adrian Dorsey

I am convinced that you really need an End of the World wake up call. I am not talking about preparing to stick your heads between your legs and kiss something goodbye sort of thing. I believe there has been far too much media coverage to this idea that we are all going to die on December 21st, 2012. I am just not convinced. In my forty years I have survived many end of the world scenarios. I managed to live through the false rapture of 1995 as well as the last on this year on May 21st, 2011. Then I somehow was fortunate enough to survive Y2K, but you have to admit that the suspense was worth some serious Redenbacher’s popcorn. Of course that was closely followed by 9/11 and the start of the so called  War on Terror. Things were quiet for a few years as media programs began to promote the terror of 2012 so people will run out and buy more popcorn in bulk to satiate their fears and excitement. However, there was that May 21st, 2011 Rapture that seemed to come and go as well. So I guess I survived that one too. I know it is going to be funny on December 22nd when people wake up to realize the world is still here. I am certain there will be a mad rush to the stores as Christmas presents are bought in a panic because Santa Clause somehow was not given the memo that the world was supposed to end because he is still doing his rounds. Then to find out that the very people who built the calender that has been given so much credit for this prophecy concerning 2012 do not even believe the world is ending.

I do have to admit though that I was stressed for a lot of years about this idea. It bothered me so much that I could not help but talk about it all the time with my friends and family. I was caught up in the suspense and fear of the whole thing and gobbling up as much popcorn as I could for surely the entertainment value of the idea was worth every kernel.

So now you want to know what finally snapped me out of my reverie. Well, I believe I have my daughter to thank for that.

My wake up call came the day that I was talking with my daughter about finishing high school. I was trying to get her to think about what she would like to do as far as leaning her thoughts in the direction of some academia or trade so that she would be able to prepare herself mentally for the challenges of shouldering the responsibilities of adulthood. That was when she said to me in a straight matter of fact no nonsense sort of way, “I know I am not going to live beyond my eighteenth birthday so why should I worry about it? The world is going to end anyway so I know I am going to die.”

I actually did not know what to say. I had no idea that this was how she felt. That this was something that had been playing itself out in her mind with detail for god knows how long. I felt sick inside. I knew that I was largely the reason for this being transplanted into her mind. She had no other plans for her future except to die before she graduated from high school because of my infatuation that the world was coming to an end. I realized I could not continue thinking this way. I could not condone my child pursuing this line of thought. It had not even dawned on me what impact I was having on my own children and god knows who else around me as well.

I began to search for reason and hope in the face of all this apparent doom and gloom. There had to be something in the maelstrom of all this madness that made sense.

Then I made a decision. The world is not going to end. Why? Well, it was simple. I have a full life ahead of me yet to live. I demand of my children to live full lives and to someday have kids of their own. So they have their lives to live. So it is a lie. There is far too many things that my children have yet to do and I will be there to see them accomplish all of it. How do I know that? I am too damn stubborn for it to be otherwise. I am tired of living as though the world is going to end. It is exhausting. You have to be tired of it too.

What I was doing was changing my paradigm. I had to change the way that I was thinking. I discuss all of this in my own book now available as a kindle e-book download through Amazon.com which is called The Paradigm Formula; Your 2012 Survival Guide.

So I hope that you are raising your own children to look forward to their proceeding birthdays on the years after 2012… because if you have them convinced that they only have one final birthday left and this is their last Christmas ever… than you have issues. You are not going anywhere until you have completed all that you have to do here on this little blue green planet. I cannot speak for you or anyone else, but I have decades of work ahead of me. My main task of my children is to outlive me after I have made it to a hundred years of age.

So my advice for preparing for 2012 is to actually stop hording popcorn and start living.

You Will Survive 2012 Whether You Like It or Not!

You Will Survive 2012

Whether You Like It or Not!

By Adrian Dorsey

I was amazed at the article I discovered online that was published on December 14th, 2011 on Huff Post Weird News The Internet Newspaper: News Blog Video Community that reinforces the idea that the world is not coming to a finale in a blaze of glory on the following winter solstice of 2012.

Mayans Never Predicted World To End In 2012?

By Pepe Cortes

PALENQUE, Mexico (Reuters) – If you are worried the world will end next year based on the Mayan calendar, relax: the end of time is still far off.

So say Mayan experts who want to dispel any belief that the ancient Mayans predicted a world apocalypse next year…”The Maya did not think about humanity, global warming or predict the poles would fuse together,” said Alfonso Ladena, a professor from the Complutense University of Madrid. “We project our worries on them.”

There is no greater concept of lack and limitation then to enforce the image of the End of the World on a people naïve enough to believe in it because they do not know any better. There is one problem with this frame of thought. The very ones that are given credit for the prophecy via a calender were not even thinking about the End of the World on December 21st, 2012.

So who has said all of these things? What is the profit for marketing this idea? I suppose it has to be similar to the fact that all forms of warfare serve to boost the economy. Wars are never fought for the protection of the border so you and your loved ones can sleep in peace. You have been told exactly what the “governing powers that be” want you to believe. You have been trained through media fallacy to consciously accept whatever is convenient for them to help achieve their agendas behind the scenes. Human interference is the only thing that could bring about such predicted events, but then that would not be very cosmic now would it?

To reinforce this I want to share with you what happened to the principal of the school my son graduated from. I actually found a way to include this event in the prologue of my book The Paradigm Formula: Your 2012 Survival Guide. During a brief conversation with my parents concerning how their grandson was doing in school this is the story he shared with them. The summer of 2010 he went down to South Central Mexico on vacation to visit the Mayan ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula. Since he was being led through the sites by a Mayan guide the principal asked outright what was with their calender predicting the end of the world in 2012. The Mayan guide laughed and assured him that what we know about it up here in North America was mostly Hollywood hype. Their calender follows a five thousand year cycle which starts over once it reaches its conclusion. This is the fourth or fifth time their calender has ended and started over again. There is no end of the world except at the box office.

I am confident that you are going to survive December 21st, 2012 to see another Christmas and another new year and likely another birthday.

Those Old Time Movies

Those Old Time Movies

By Adrian Dorsey

Have you ever gone throughout your day doing the things you need to do but for every spare moment you find yourself playing over in your mind events from the past? I used to do this all the time. I was obsessed with the negative experiences that had happened to me and the pain that had come along with it. The hurt and betrayal boiling and seething in my guts until nausea became an accepted way of life. After enough years of this I started experiencing major problems with my digestive system straight down throughout my bowels. Nasty subject I know but I want to share with you the realization that hanging on to repressed negativity over long periods of time can do great damage to your body from the inside out. Eventually I was sick most of the time. I was having trouble walking and sitting was not very comfortable either. I did not know what I was going to do because I was only 32 years old at the time. I was far too young to be experiencing these kinds of ailments. Yet, I would go to work with the pain, somehow managing to push through the day with great effort still playing the old movies in my mind about the moments from the past that I wished I never experienced. I was heading for a wheel chair by the time I would be forty if I continued along the road that I was following for my life.

I realize now that all that time reliving the past is a hindrance to any progress that you could make in the present. In fact this is the reason that we are told that we use only 5% of our brain. Do not mistake this kind of mental processing as actual thought because it is the farthest thing from it. Those images that you allow to play over and over again as you relive the feelings of resentment and bitterness that accompany them are nothing more than mental processing stuck on repeat. Did you know that? You are not thinking when you do this.

So this begs the question to be asked. What is actual thought? Wallace D. Wattles says in his book called “The Science of Getting Rich”, that thought is the hardest and most difficult thing to do. To be capable of thinking you have to know be able to expand your realization beyond the physical appearances of your situation. True thought can only be described as a greater expression of life which embodies everything that is life, love, riches, joy, gladness, health, and success. To understand this is to be able to tap into the creative governing power that originated all things into existence from the beginning of creation. No one wants to be sick or miserable or to live in poverty. This things are a lower expression of life that is contrary to the laws of nature. The only reason they exist is because the appearance of them gets into the minds of people and they get emotionally attached to these images. The image held in the conscious mind when impressed down into the sub-conscious awareness where feelings become involved affect the condition that a person becomes which in turn produces the results that are interpreted as reality.

To manifest successful conditions in your life you need to sustain true thought. This is difficult to do when the truth is contrary to appearances. Most people look at their physical situation allowing the appearance to dictate their reality and nothing better comes to pass. When you demand success to come into your life in the form of health, joy and even riches you have to look beyond the apparent obvious with faith that you deserve something better and you will not settle for anything less. This is why true thought is so difficult and why most people are unable to accomplish it. It takes hard work and effort to sustain it in the face of the illusion of contrary images that constantly bombard our sensory input every day. So for most people it is easier to see the sickness and accept it for what it is. It is simpler to adapt to the misery of poverty wishing with vague desires for a better lifestyle while compromising to stay where they are at. The truth of the situation is that there is no sickness but health. There is no poverty but abundance in riches.

Bottom line is that life pays you off on your own terms. If you accept the appearance of your situation than you deserve to live it. However, if you know that you deserve the best of the best and will accept nothing less than you can change your circumstances by becoming the captain of your own destiny. It takes hard work and effort to get what you really want. However, if you can formulate the idea of what it is that you would love to do and you are willing to burn with desire to attain it allowing nothing to stand in your way then life will reward you as you demand it.

So I adjure you to stop the game of menial mental processing replaying old movies of the past. There is only one way to deal with what has happened before and that is to let it go, abandon it, forsake it, and forget it. You cannot change the past so it is not worth reliving. You cannot begin to imagine what is going to happen in the future but be confident that you can face it. Instead just stay in the present and become obsessed with true thought which overcomes the illusion of appearances changing sickness into health and changing all that is lacking or in limitation to overflowing abundance in the form of success.

Bob Proctor says, “Life pays you off on your own terms”. You have to remember that! So now how you are doing to demand that that life pays you off today. Don’t hold back. Go as big as you dare. This is your life. Do not settle for anything less than the fullness that the expression of life can provide in the harmony of completeness. You know what you want to do. You have always known it.

Think about what it is that you really want to do. Become obsessed with it. Then do something every day toward accomplishing whatever that thing is. It will come to pass if you demand it and take action with deliberate intent toward the completion of your desire.

True sustained thought must be maintained in the face of adversity for this to work. As Napoleon Hill once said, “I see only the objective, it is the obstacle that must get out of the way.”

Comfortable Creativity

Comfortable Creativity

By

Adrian Dorsey

Creativity is the ability to manifest thought into reality. A carpenter, painter and writer are all artists of inspiration. Whatever it is that you are able to do that brings you joy or some measure of contentment is creation in action. You were created with the ability to co-create designs of ideas within the concept of your mind empowered with emotion which determine the outcome of what you are able to produce with your very own hands. Creation!

All too often your ability to adequately perform this function is hampered with the struggle of daily life. The stress that plagues you is too often at the forefront of your thoughts to which you emotionally attach yourself. There are three stresses that cause great injury to your being. There is physical stress which is the injury of pain within the structure of your body due to accident or mechanical breakdown over time. This however is often the end result of the other stresses which include psychological and emotional. The latter two produce toxins within the body that is very similar to battery acid. So many people walk around filled with anger that is fueled by bitterness and resentment toward various circumstances or people in their lives. These negative emotions release this acidity throughout the body that is very self destructive. You would not deliberately drink a glass of battery acid or bathe in it, but you would release the same level of toxicity through the expression of powerful negative emotions which do the same thing internally to your organs. The end result over time is a cellular breakdown of your bones and musculature to the degree that the body at some point can no longer absorb the demands of every day activity. Thus, sooner or later something is going to break.

For years I walked around addicted to depression. It became a way of life filling every waking thought with the emotional attachment of betrayals and let downs that I had experienced. Living a life that is high in stress eventually led to an accident at work one day which resulted in the tearing of the inner upper and lower ligaments that held my hips together. The secondary injury was in the lower thoracic region of my spine. The result of this was nerve damage down my left leg. Further disappointments in my life continued that would cause my health to deteriorate. Eventually I was hardly able to walk. My bowels were inflamed all the time. My entire digestive system was messed up to the point that I could no longer digest gluten or lactose.

Nothing would change for me until I made the decision to stop being depressed. I had walked in it for so long that it was not an easy thing to do. Twelve or thirteen years of repressed negativity is not something that you easily erase overnight. However, with a lot of hard work and effort I was able to face it and make some real life changing decisions that made a difference. I started putting the failures behind me. I began to focus on the present as I started to get involved with new things and ideas that promoted a greater expression of life into my condition. It was with enthusiasm that I was able to look ahead to the future knowing that there were important and wonderful things that I was going to do. I guess you could say that I stopped dwelling on the past full of personal doom and gloom. The realization hit me that I had been brought into being for a purpose and I started to become determined to fulfill that objective with inspiration of creativity.

Today I am pain free.

You cannot fulfill your dreams and aspirations if you live in oppression. Now I am going to tell you a truth, that almost every situation of this nature is self imposed. Depression is a choice. Failure is also a choice. Choices are made by accepting the appearance of a situation and ultimately giving up. Success is brought about by knowing what you want and continually striving for it every day until you attain whatever it is that you desire.

The problem is that it is difficult to create if you are not comfortable with your life. The accumulation of stresses kill any desire to do the things that you were created to do. Instead of fulfilling your role in life you are reduced to a dreamer building castles in your mind that never materialize. Perhaps you briefly get excited about something for a day or two or perhaps even a whole week, but than you return to what you know which is the mediocre existence of accepting your fate short of the goal.

So what does it take to be comfortable? You know as well as I do what it would take to live in a condition of pure comfort where you would be able to be inspired to do a world of good. It would require nothing short of the best living conditions imaginable. That includes a good solid roof over your head. It would also mean that you would not be hungry because good food would be within reach to fill your belly. I am sure that a wardrobe that suits your taste would also be essential. Creature comforts play a big role in being comfortable. Most importantly though, it would also demand a lifestyle that is free of physical, emotional, and psychological stress! Here is where I am going to tell you another truth and I want you to listen. If you could eliminate the emotional and mental stresses from your life the physical ailments usually vanish. The physical condition is only there because of the imbalance caused by the other two. Your body will align itself with the harmony that it should operate with once the internal conflicts are eliminated.

Well, how is this done? How do I do that?

Raymond Holliwell, author of Working With the Law says that the inability to forgive is an obstacle that hinders success both monetarily and physically. That forgiveness of the past is nothing short of letting go, forsaking, abandoning and forgetting the wrong that was done. For a long time I did not understand this concept even though my kung fu teacher, sifu Muri Parsons, often said the same thing. He would say, “Just let it go… just let it go.” I would look at him like he had grown a second head. How could I let go of that pain and hurt that I was addicted to?

I was an addict to my depression. Any addict has no hope of letting go of their habit until they are ready to do so. You have to come to the place where you have had enough. You have to make the decision that you have hurt enough. Once you do this then you are ready to live.

Napoleon Hill said, “Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty.”

The bottom line is that you need to eliminate the stress in your life so that you can find your comfort zone that will enable your inspiration to burn so that you can ultimately create. Inspiration is the fuel of desire. It is difficult to desire anything when you focus on the misery of heartache and failure. If you are not able to accomplish the things you know you should be doing than you need to change the direction in your life. Life in and of itself is about evolution. I am referring to continual growth in all areas of your life. You should never be standing still for too long in one place or the waters become stagnant. Your spiritual and emotional well being should be in a continual state of renewal reaching into new areas of development.

Bob Proctor puts it simply enough, “If you are not creating than you are disintegrating!”

What that means is that if you are not doing those things which you know you can do than you are not fulfilling your purpose for being and are living an unfulfilled life.

So do what you have to in order to find that comfortable place where you can begin to create.

I am only trying to inspire you to fulfill your greatest potential by encouraging you to be who you were created to be so that you co do what you have been created to do.

Welcome to my blog

Welcome to Adrian Dorsey’s Blog

Hi, my name is Adrian Dorsey, and I would like to welcome you to my blog.

I have been looking at getting content out there on the world wide web and have decided to put a website out there with my name on it.

For several years now I have heard of this online concept called blogging without really understanding what it was. I still do not really get what blog is supposed to be although the word carries with it the idea of sharing thoughts in the expression of attracting the attention of those that are capable of reading while at the same time sounding like something that might come back up the digestive tract after a good wholesome meal that leaves you stuffed to the gills. “Blog!”

Okay, I will relent to say that it is obviously a form of media outlet to draw the attention of those who have an interest in what you have to say about whatever subject it is that you may fancy.

So I hope that you will find something worthwhile following me here on my blog. I am going to approach this as a kind of journal because that is something I can relate too. I will share a significant number of topics that have certainly had my focus for many years.

I have looked at how to do blogging on the internet and found out how other people are doing it so now I have my blog set up.  I suppose the main strategy that I am going to utilize is to share a thought for the day as often as I can.

In all honesty blogging is a term that I find more than a little confounding. One dictionary definition  is as follows, “A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links.”

I suppose one could almost say that blogging then is literally an online diary. You see I am still trying to wrap my own head around this strange verb so that I can actualize it into my own consciousness for the purpose of doing something useful with it.

I guess it is a form of internet slang in the literal sense for what I can only describe as an acronym for ‘web log’ which has amalgamated into the word ‘weblog’ and from there eventually evolved into blog… a personal captain’s log that has an interactive feature that allows readers to respond if they so choose.

I suppose that ability can be both a boon as well as a curse depending on who the reader may be and whether or not that person likes what you have to say or finds some reason to slam it just because they are having a bad day. So I hope that this works.

Perhaps a few of you out there will be appreciative of the random jargon that floats through the ether of my mind out onto this wordpress blog for you to view with the option of actually contemplating. Who knows… you may even like what you read.

My name is Adrian Dorsey and I am going to be blogging. You are welcome to come along for the journey.
